Apex Plays in the Botetourt Education Foundation Golf Tournament!

Last week, Apex representatives Charlie Johnson and Kevin Chandler had the opportunity to help support the Botetourt EducationIMG_1488.jpg Foundation by playing in the organization’s 8th Annual Swing 4 Schools Golf Tournament at Ashley Plantation Country Club in Daleville, Virginia. One hundred percent of the proceeds went to supporting the foundation’s activities.

The Botetourt Education Foundation works to further educational opportunities in Botetourt County. Among other activities, the foundation is a leading supporter of the Botetourt Technical Education Center and provides annual funding for a Chesapeake Bay Summer Enrichment Program for area 6th- and 7th-grade students.

As a company that works on the leading edge of energy technology, Apex understands the importance of promoting educational opportunity, and we were proud to join the more than 30 other local businesses sponsoring the event. We thank the Botetourt Education Foundation for their dedication to the county’s students, and congratulations on a great event!
