Knoxville News Sentinel: Wind Energy Helps Wildlife and Wallets

David Jenkins, president of Conservatives for Responsible Stewardship, applauds the many benefits of wind energy in his letter to the editor in last month's Knoxville Sentinel.

The benefits he lists include wind energy’s low impact on wildlife; the ability of a wind farm to repay its carbon footprint in six months or less; the fact that turbines help make for cleaner air by emitting no harmful pollutants; the low cost of wind energy; and the job outlook for wind turbine technicians (the fastest growing new profession in the United States).
